Feb 23rd 2012 - LAA issues full type acceptance and series approval for the EuroFOX, Nose wheel, Tail wheel, Glider tug (750kg) all at 560kg aircraft MAUW
The EuroFOX is a factory finish aircraft of superb quality in a fast build kit. It is a high wing, STOL aircraft with a MAUW of 450kgs, 472kgs or 560kgs, in nose or tail wheel configuration. The same airframe construction is used in all versions, including the glider tug, so in its microlight form, the EuroFOX has a huge safety factor.

The EuroFOX has been cleared for kit building by the LAA and BMAA since October 11, orders for all catagories (microlight, VLA, nose, tail wheel and glider tugs) have been taken. NEW GLIDER TUG BROCHURE, see brochure page.
Available as a quick build kit (factory supervised fabric covering program on LAA builds). The kit comprises of all materials and parts, including instruments and paint, to complete the aircraft to a flying conclusion.
The aircraft has market leading handling, specification, and performance. Some of the main benefits of the EuroFOX are the single handed 5 min wing fold system (dont get confused with other aircraft "wing fold" claims, that are really wing removal taking up to 1 hour). A huge payload (270kgs), together with the Rotax 912 (80 or 100HP) light sport leading aero engine. The aircraft is a quality product, produced using welded and polyurathane coated Cr-Mo steel tube fuselage and aluminium wing spars and ribs with a quality Poly Fibre covering. Easy and cheap to repair unlike aluminium sheet aircraft.
With the widest in class composite undercarriage at 7" 6, which is very robust, together with the Rotax 912 (80 HP or 100HP), you have a real fun machine capable of operating from the shortest and roughest strips, where many other aircraft cannot go.
The aircraft performance, comfort, economy and handling is a delight, the controls being agile and responsive. The EuroFox is also an established glider tow aircraft, for up to 750kg. The high quality of the factory and kit build provides a consistent product, backed up by a long manufacturers warranty. Full support and back up from a long establish company, ensuring high resale values and with over 150,000 flying hours on the fleet, you are assured that its a well sorted "no risk" aircraft purchase.
Due to the international high demand and UK rules, the EuroFOX is only available as a kit at the moment. A RTF version is available in Ireland. A microlight 450kg, 472.5 kg and a 560 kg 51% kit version has been produced by the factory.
The EuroFOX fits nicely in the new "light sport" category at 560kgs MAUW, enabling real versatility, usability and flexibility. Enough usable load for 2 big pilots, full fuel and luggage, whilst still retaining incredible STOL performance and 100+ mph economic cruise. Flown at 450 MAUW in microlight form, just imagine the huge safety factor in the airframe as the same 560kg airframe tows gliders up to 750 kgs.
